Seasonal Summer Jobs:

Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Winnarainbow. Adult Staff applications for summer 2026 open on January 26th, and we expect staff training to begin (onsite in Laytonville) around June 13 or 14, 2026. You can submit an application here.

Please note: all staff are required to be CPR/First Aid certified, submit to LiveScan fingerprinting and an annual background check, complete mandated reporter training (every two years) and concussion training (once).

Each year, the vast majority of our staff are returning from previous summers. We have very few spots available for new staff. Generally, we do not hire people to be teachers only — skills teachers will also staff a tipi (highly experienced staff may serve on the leadership team instead of staffing a tipi).

Summer 2026 Salaries and Wages

Camp Winnarainbow’s salaries and wages for summer 2026 are as follows:

• Base counselor pay: $630/week + room and board
  • Years of seniority and specialized roles are compensated by $10/week increases
• Kitchen staff pay: $20/hour + room and board
• Maintenance staff pay: $20/hour + room and board

Year-Round Jobs

We have closed the search for our part-time, remote Office Assistant. We are not currently hiring for any other year-round positions at this time.
