Ginger Jackson-Gleich
Executive Director

Ginger first came to camp as a camper 32 years ago. Ginger received her law degree from Harvard Law School; worked as a civil rights and employment lawyer, focused on the intersection of criminal justice and democracy. Before that, she worked at San Francisco University High School and at Outward Bound schools. Camp remains one of the most formative influences in her life: it taught her compassion, became an extended family, and instilled ideas about kindness, inclusion, and equity that continue to guide her work to this day. She is a lifelong believer in the fun and magic of camp. Ginger pulls on all of her experiences to lead Camp alongside the dedicated and talented year-round staff and in partnership with the amazing summer staff. Her leadership style is one that is grounded in collaboration, strong integrity and operates from the heart.

Mayahuel Montoya
Administrative Manager

Maya, (She/They) comes from a background in dance, performing arts, and education. She was raised in Berkeley, CA and Merida, Yucatan. She attended college at the New School in New York City. Mayahuel’s first year at Camp Winnarainbow was in 2000. Mayahuel has been a Camper, Teen Staff and tipi counselor. She has taught dance, musical theater and visual arts at Camp Winnarainbow. She moved into various supervisory roles and leads our Camper Advocate program. She serves Camp year-round as the Administrative Manager. She strives to Support, contribute and uplift BIPOC art and voices, activism and Restorative Justice practices. Her years at Camp have given her a safe space to create and grow, and a strong drive to support children from all walks of life in sharing in community at Camp Winnarainbow.

 

Timmy Yuen
Financial Manager

Originally from Santa Paula, California, Timmy Yuen (he/him) is a graduate in drama and international relations from Stanford University. Stemming from his deep love for opera, theater and circus, Timmy started with Camp Winnarainbow in 2002 and progressively served in the capacity of Programs Manager, Assistant Director, Director and now part-time Chief Financial Officer. Wearing multiple hats, Timmy now also serves as Associate Director of Human Resources for the San Francisco Opera as well as a Board Director and Secretary for the Prescott Circus Theatre. Timmy has made the arts his life’s work and is an advocate for increased diversity and representation in arts administration.

Lealah Johnson
Adminsitrative Support Specialist

Lealah’s journey with Camp Winnarainbow began 33 years ago when she first attended as a child at the age of nine. Over the years, Lealah has taken on numerous roles at camp, including Teen Staff, Counselor, Duper, Advocate, and Dance Teacher.With over 26 years of experience in education and 7 years as a Mindfulness Coach, Lealah has held various roles and contributed to many educational initiatives across the Bay Area. Her work with Camp Winnarainbow has enriched her personally and within her community. Deeply connected to the camp’s mission and values, she remains passionate about giving back to a place that has had a lasting impact on her life and the lives of many others.

Jordan Auleb
Development Manager

Jordan is a Camp Winnarainbow alum, former counselor, current Camp parent, and Camp Development Manager. Jordan is passionate about the intersection of social justice and the arts and her role has allowed her to combine those passions, particularly through the annual benefit concerts she produces for Camp with artists including Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Jackson Brown, Elvis Costello, Billy Strings, and others. Jordan is a San Francisco native with a lifelong love of and involvement in the arts in a variety of social and professional capacities. Jordan has done fundraising, event production, artist outreach, social media, and advocacy. Jordan has a degree in Political Science and Community and Justice Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC.

Monique Calfé
Social Media Coordinator

Momo’s first year at Winnarainbow was in 2006 and has been a Camper and Teen staff. She joined Adult Staff as a Tipi counselor and a singing teacher, helping out with drama as well . Momo serves as our Social Media Coordinator and She spends her summers as a Performance Coordinator, Honchoing the Tech Department & Photo Fairy!
